Health Enterprises is a healthcare services organization supporting hospitals and healthcare providers through collaborative programs, strategic services, and operational expertise. Through our Group Purchasing Organization (GPO), we help members and affiliates maximize value, reduce costs, and strengthen supply chain performance.
We are currently seeking a Vice President, GPO to provide executive leadership and oversight of national and regional group purchasing programs. This role is responsible for overseeing member and affiliate relationships, directing regional contracting activities, ensuring compliance with group purchasing agreements, and maximizing group purchasing-related revenues. This role works closely with hospital executives, vendors/suppliers, and national GPO partners to ensure maximum value is achieved through group purchasing initiatives.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required plus two years of work experience in a related field; master’s degree and 1+ years of experience in a related field preferred.
- Significant experience working with hospital executives, healthcare supply chain operations, group purchasing contracts, and strategic relationship management is required.
- Experience in negotiating group purchasing contracts.
- Experience with e-commerce and internet-based business processes.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Deep understanding of healthcare supply chain, contracting and GPO structures.
- Strong strategic, financial and analytical acumen.
- Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and build long-term partnerships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience with executive and board-level audiences.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and data/reporting tools.
- Ability to travel by air or automobile, including overnight travel.
